18. Much of what you say is true. People do perceive things this way, but
their perceptions are wrong.....dead wrong. Al Gore's movie is opptimistic in light of events. There were many predictions of what is happening now back in the seventies. I remember what nature was like in my area back then and things have changed a lot.

The media needs to show the "big picture" and keep mentioning how our hottest years are clustering around NOW. They need to show the studies that have found Arctic ice melt accelerating at many times the rate predicted only a few years ago. By the time we have twenty years of measurements behind us, from now, it will be far too late.

Environmental disasters need to be showcased, whether they are directly attributable to climate change or just poor human management. Things like salmon decline, cod decline, and overfishing in general. The subject of drinking water is pretty scary. There are many very important things that are being ruined right this minute. They aren't getting covered, though, because of the Corporate Media's agenda. The Dems need to stand up and give a loud environmental, "BOO!" and scare the crap out of the populace.

Unfortunately, many Dems are corporate shills, as well. This issue needs to determine who is in office, plain and simple. Is Ned Lamont an environmnetal advocate? Hmmmmmmmm?
