1. They don't want to make you safe - these are the incremental steps

by which you give up all of your rights, granted to you with much bloodshed by the original revolutionaries, and defined by the framers of your Constitution and nation long, long ago. You give them up willingly, fearing the invisible other - after all, the enemy could be anyone, the is everywhere, and uses the most basic things of life to threaten and terrorize you. The more they threaten you, the more militant you will also become, the more willing to shed the blood of whoever they point at and tell you is the enemy... you see :)
