me to explain to her why that was so wrong, without breaking our friendship.

She is a Baptist, but much different than most I've met. I would probably describe her as a worldly Baptist (if there is such a thing.) Although I am a Catholic, we actually agree on a lot of logic and how many "very strict religious people" simply don't face reality.

Her oldest son graduated from the Citadel in SC, and her youngest son is a student there now. As you probably know, that's a military school. Her oldest son works in a gov't job now, and I'm sure the younger one will upon Graduation too.

I really think her sentiments are based on a long history of being Pubs, and I guess I should just ignore the few political things I get from her and just value the friendship.

Sorry if I upset you for posting this on DU. See, I think of you folks as my friends too, and I've gotten a lot of good advice here on a lot of different subject.
