33. Well, at least I'm honest about my ignorance!
We always save change and I was most enthusistic about contributing it to Randi Rhodes call for help to contribute to Habitat for Humanity for the Katrina relief effort. Now I think that 1/4 of a large container of change will go toward the efforts that she has called for and the rest and some extra will go to the common grounds efforts.

I just sprung on my spouse tonight that I think that we should spend the long winter break that the kids get from school in NOLA helping to clear debris, building, painting or whatever we can do to help. I'm sure that it will make our repub family members angry, but I can't think of anything that will make me feel better!

Christmas helping others instead of contributing to gifts to people who really don't need them - I think I'll be much happier 'workin' in New Orleans' as opposed to the song "Walkin' to New Orleans".:hi:
