We hear this all the time "Saddam slaughtered thousands of his own people"

Okay. So when we were supporting him in his war against Iran he was being nice to his people? he behaved DIFFERENTLY then than he did around the time dubya got a bug up his ass to invade Iraq?

Point is the answer is NO. BUT NOW all of a sudden we give a shit about Saddam's victims. See back then who gave a shit about what he was doing to his own people give him more guns to fight the Iranians!!!

END OF FUCKING STORY. How I wish we could hear someone ANYONE say this on national tv as a retort. Hell I'LL fucking do it gimmie a damn mic.
