what the button on my jacket means. So, I take a deep breath, brace myself and say, "well, the black and orange ribbons are a protest against election fraud and the W with a slash over it means that I am against George * and I have worn it since 2004" then I think to myself here it comes, and I wait for his response.

So he says, "well I'm proud of you and I feel the same way." (Get OUT! Shut UP! I think to myself but don't say out loud)

Then we get into this great albeit fairly brief conversation about the current state of affairs, the Constitution of the United States, the behavior of this administration, the separation of Church and State, hypocrisy and Christianity, and more. It really blew my mind and it was so nice to know that someone else (outside of DU of course) was actually thinking about these things...it was so wonderful, so refreshing.

PS when I went to vote, I had it in my pocket and when I watched the returns that night it was right beside my computer. I have worn it like a badge of honor since 2004.

Pretty Cool Huh?
