UPDATED: 12:43 pm EST November 22, 2006

AKRON, Ohio -- A homeowner's son wrestled and pinned a suspected burglar until police arrived.

Frank Winn, 52, of Akron, was charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and possession of criminal tools.

He told police he broke into the home on Merridge Road Friday night looking for food.

Police said the homeowner returned to her house at about 6 p.m. The resident's 25-year-old son went into the house and was confronted by Winn, saying that he had a gun and would shoot, officers said.
