I must have watched my copy of "An Inconvenient Truth" at least 5 times since it arrived this week. I have come again to a conclusion I came to at the end of the Clinton Administration that gave me true hope for the future.

Al Gore is a genius, and his Presidency would SAVE the Nation.

We NOW have a second chance. Mr. Gore has started leaning toward re-running for President.

Mr. Gore can be the President as he should have been in the year 2000. This is essential to the survival of the Nation, and perhaps might PREVENT or cushion the coming economic collapse, and reverse, or at the least arrest the coming catastrophe of Global Warming.

I cannot see how anyone who calls themselves a Democrat or a Progressive cannot see how essential this is.

The Big Question Is: DO WE DESERVE HIM? Well, if we DON'T, maybe we can merit the grace of the universe to have Al Gore as President even though after our foolishness, sloth and greed, we do not truly deserve him.

I think it is time, now, to commence the Presidential Campaign of 2008. We must make the Conservatives look like the short-sighted and greed-mad people they truly are; we have the chance to make our voices heard now that the current administration no longer has any support for their suppression of dissent. In case anyone has not yet noticed, the recent election has rendered the concept of "First Amendment Zones" not only dead but ridiculously dead.

I will begin my efforts for the Presidential Campaign of 2008 NOW.

My First Step: I am arranging to show "An Inconvenient Truth" at a local Liberal leaning church, and will do so, weekly if they allow, even if no one comes, or until no one comes.

My Second Step: I have some involvement with the local Democratic Party, and will commence my Local Al Gore in 2008 effort through them.

This is a Blue State, despite local "Sportsmen for the latest Republican" people. If we can CONCENTRATE on saving the ship of state and make Global Warming history though true STATESMEN Like Al Gore, then perhaps we can worry later about things like Gun Control, which as I have said, is completely off of any agenda I will forward. If we start now, maybe we can even DESERVE to have President Albert Gore.

All are now free to make their "CALL CONGRESS NOW!" comparisons one last time.
