You know, I don't give a fuck if some of the people who lost everything to Katrina or Rita are Fundies, or hardcore Southern Baptists, or Catholics or Jews, or Agnostics, or Athiests, or whatever. If a human being, if one of my brothers or sisters is in need, I am not going to ask them what their religious or political affiliation is. I am instead going to do whatever the hell I can do to reach out to them, to help them, to give them what they need.

I doubt the same could be said about the RWinger's. To them, you must fit a specific mold to warrant help. To me, and to many like me, their religious or political leanings don't mean a damn thing. What matters is that they are HUMAN BEINGS, and when they are down and out, they warrant the help and assistance of those of us who are NOT down and out.
