Look, having money doesn't make you an elitist. Looking down on others as being insignificant or inconvenient makes you an elitist. The most damning fact in here is Cindy's investment with folks who do business in the Sudan. You know she only sold that investment cuz they're headed into the general and it was bound to come up. She didn't sell for objections to the slaughter of thousands over money an what are basically shiny rocks, who cares about that? Just don't let it become a political liability.

Elitism is about attitude and that investment plus the assumption that John is so special he doesn't even have to follow the letter or the spirit of the law that he helped write is what tells you who they think they are.
