Although I would consider myself more liberal than yourself, I appreciate that you wish to actually debate the issues. Tort reform like Health reform, could evolve into something beneficial, or not, depending on the final outcome. I see no problem with limiting the awards for litigants, but that it should also not be made more difficult to actually get to court. As far as the Public Option, I think its only logical, and by far more cost effective, to push for Single Payer and slowly reduce the private carriers into providing specialized services and extra coverage.

But how can we have a debate when so many people are, frankly, brainwashed as you wrote. They are not there to learn anything, they are on a mission to save their grandma.
