62. Actually the guy on TV says that he attacked the pro-health care guy
hit the pro-health care guy twice and that --- the second time he hit him his finger ended up in the pro-health care guy's mouth. First, sounds like the guy on TV responded to a verbal insult with physical violence. That could mean that the guy on TV is the one who actually committed the assault. Unless he has an in with the local police, he could end up as the one in trouble. I don't have all the facts. I'm just suggesting that is possible under the facts this guy on TV presents. Further, the guy who bit off the finger may not have done it intentionally at all. It may have been a reflex action. It's possible that he fell forward and clamped his teeth. Hard to say.

Being yelled at or called an idiot is not grounds for hitting the person who insulted you under most circumstances. I don't believe that is basis enough for self-defense.
