I might wind up behind bars. You remember Saxby, the never-heard-a-shot-fired-in-anger piece of shit who had the balls to call combat veteran and triple amputee Max Cleland "soft on National Defense" during his Senate campaign.
Now old "Blood-and-Guts" Chambliss is lecturing Jim Webb on how to protect a nation. Saxby calls Jim's proposal (a bill which was seconded by the 300,000 plus members of the Retired Military Officers organization) to afford our troops time off after extended combat tours, "defeatist". Yep, old "Blood-and-Guts" Chambliss wants to lecture Jim Webb on the need for downtime in between firefights.
Memo to Saxby: JIM WEBB WEARS THE MOTHER-FUCKING NAVY CROSS -- AND THE ONLY REASON IT'S NOT THE CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR IS THAT HE SURVIVED HIS WOUNDS. Now I realize that Jim's service can't stack up against your law school deferment and subsequent "bad knee" (moot court's a bitch, isn't it?) all of which somehow conspired to keep you from ever donning a green suit, but here's a little advice from this old ex-grunt: SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH, YOU CANDY-ASS CHICKENHAWK.
