Cindy McCain: "I will become the new Princess Diana!"

What's this "if I become First Lady" shit, dear? What's stopping you from becoming a big humanitarian NOW, without conditions? Surely there are more charities you could form and then steal from, darling.

======

Cindy McCain, wife of Senator John McCain, says she wants to become a figurehead for humanitarian work like the late Diana, Princess of Wales, if she makes it to the White House.

"She was a great inspiration to me and to the British people as well," Mrs McCain said of Diana. "She was a remarkable person and had a loving heart."

She said if her husband, the Republican presidential nominee, beat Senator Barack Obama in the November election, she would make humanitarian work her priority.

"I intend to make that the focus of what I do," she said.
