American people. The right-wing would have never gotten off the ground with all their shit if, when first caught in the lie, he had admitted it
and resigned. But, the whole thing would have been avoided if he'd never lied about it to start.

Lying is the problem. In my lifetime, it started with Nixon and Watergate. Then it was Reagan and Iran Contra. Bill and his blowjob.
Look where we've ended up! Nothing but lies and distortions for the last 6 years.

It is NOT ok to lie. Period. It has nothing to do with giving the right wing what they wanted--it has to do with being honest with the American people and worthy of their trust.
