Lest we forget... War.

So many DUers found this place when shock and awe were the buzzwords.

We still are unwelcome occupiers in Iraq and Afghanistan and the death toll of these occupations increase daily. Obama wants to increase our troop strength in Afghanistan and pull back strength in Iraq. Our Country is on the brink of an economic meltdown and our infrastructure is in disarray. We have completely destabilized the fragile balance in the Middle East and have increased terrorist activity across the world. The only correct scenario that I see is to cut "our losses" and pull our troops back with apologies for the last administration and rebuild our economy via public works projects and rebuild our standing in the world by making our influences known by humanitarian rather than warlike means.

The wars are still ongoing, but you seldom hear of it here. There are too many trivial in comparison items that we love to rant on while we have become inured to the fact that we didn't win the war question.

The war is still there and people are still needlessly dying.

Please don't forget.

Please continue protesting this terrible thing.

/Rant off.
