5. I don't agree at all.
Shuffling the deck chairs every few years just leads to a situation where no one knows what the fuck is going on. Having the knowledge of prior reauthorizations, for instance, means that committee chairs know exactly what to look for when they're re-writing the bills. They know what lessons need to be learned, they know what the intentions were with the old bill, and they can make the changes that need to be made.

You know what term limits would lead to? More power in the hands of lobbyists, because they'd be the only guys in town that would know enough about a bill to make meaningful changes.

Further, the VAST majority of Congressmen actually do a lot for the people. Congress moves slow by design - a good design, I might add. We don't need or want laws vastly changed every few years. We don't need or want rule by angry mob.

If you want to fight a problem - go after campaign finance reform. Level the playing field and they'll certainly be more beholden to the people and not just campaign contributors.
