From the cant make this shit up desk: On his radio show this aftrenoon, Thom was making the case that progressives should share common cause with the teabaggers. Because they are both populist movements, was his specious reasoning. I think he was serious, he is not much for satire
Luckily one of his wiser callers was quick to point out that on just about every issue abortion, religion, guns, health care,gay rights, etc, they share completely opposite platforms. Apparantly the only thing they have in common is their hatred for all things Obama. And for the teabaggers its only 'cuz he's black.

Could you see a combined protest from these 2 groups? The progressives could help the baggers with their spelling of " Muslim socialist"

ETA so much for this being a DLC meme
