This will be a source of concern for many in the popular media who have never learned how to deal with a spoiled three-year-old (although I've known some three-year-olds who would bristle at the comparison). Rather than ignoring them as they should, the media will coddle the poor dears, making soothing sounds and fervently promising to make everything all better. This will set off another round of tantrums, followed by media exasperation. The media will then turn to everyone else and pointedly ask why we're not doing everything we can to calm down these poor brats? And some putative Democrats will obediently jump up and scold the rest of us for being insufficiently sensitive to a party that launched two illegal wars, conducted punitive occupations, and carried out torture in our names with our tax dollars.

And some of us will be dumb enough to feel bad about it.
