I had my doubts about Gore as recently as a year ago (2000 election and his perceived "wooden" persona etc.), but he has convinced me that he is exactly what this country needs. If he is really intelligent, however, he wouldn't want to run!!! I mean who wants to clean up the shit at the monkey house after 8 years of occupation by the Chimp?? It will be a thankless job, whoever is elected President in '08 will have a huge mess to inherit. But, if someone has to clean house, Gore is probably the best suited for the job. He'll need a HUGE shovel, however!!
