5. Law doesn't mean much anymore. You'd think that men like these-
The greatest beneficiaries of the system- would recognize that undermining the public's respect for law is incredibly dangerous. They only enjoy their wealth because of law- because of the general working population's willingness to adhere to the social contract. To undermine that for a little more fleeting power, or a few more bucks is... just stupid.
