23. McCain is over with. His era has passed yet he bellows on from
the Far Right bleachers.
But the voice is hoarse and choked and doesn't carry.
His peak came in the New Hampshire primary trouncing of the Bush campaign and his refreshing verbal punches to Falwell and other televangelists. Then the Rove factor kicked in in South Carolina, and it's been all downhill since.
His poll numbers are lame, there's no cash in the bank, and a huge number of U.S. voters aren't in the market for a pro-war president.
