We feel as if the people have some sort of say in the matter. I'm not so sure that's the case.

What really makes Hillary Clinton the BEST choice to lead us, following the disaster that has been the past 7 years?

I appreciate all those who throw their support behind folks like Kucinich, or Edwards, or even Obama. I plan to support and vote for Edwards in the primary. I just think there is ZERO chance he's going to get the nomination. And that's a better chance than Dennis has. Hope is fine, but let's face reality. And this might be 2007, but Obama is not going to get the nomination. Reality, not hope. Sorry.

I have believed, and still believe, that Al Gore was the only one who stood a chance. Who knows, perhaps I'm a bit naive in my support for him, and Hillary would have knocked him cold also. Perhaps she has been "Given" the Presidency as much as I have feared. You know, more or less like "*" was given the previous 2 elections.

I guess outcomes are not fun when they're known in advance. We'll see what happens, but I feel like tuning out, and saying wake me in November '08, AFTER Hillary has won the election. I'm going to spend the year figuring out if there is any viable alternative to the country formerly known as America.
