3. I Had Printouts At Work Of The Sergeant At Arms Press Release.
Edited on Sat Feb-10-07 01:00 PM by OPERATIONMINDCRIME
I heard a couple people talking about it right behind my cube, so I promptly took a few, walked over, and said "Are you really this incapable of seeking truth for yourself? Facts matter." and I handed each of them a copy. One kept trying to talk defensively about it holding onto the 'Faux News' official line about it, but I kept overspeaking them by repeating over and over "Facts matter. Facts matter. Facts matter". Each time he opened his mouth, I just kept saying "Facts matter".

Now I know I ain't gonna convince him of anything, but I could most certainly tell that the others that had been around listening to the bullshit got something out of the exchange. It undermined his attempts at passing off the bullshit and my steadfast and firm declaration of "facts matter" definitely got the others thinking, and I'm sure after reading the statement from the Sergeant at arms understood clearly what was meant by 'facts matter'.
