And I bet all of you can guess which one it is.

It's not Idaho. Idaho clocked in at 48% approval back at the end of August, and this suggests Wyoming is also below 50%. But just the other day a new survey put Utah at 58%. Oh, Utah....

Below, which states have moved left faster than the nation, a way to estimate Bush approval in any district, and Bush's bounces.

Above is the most recent approval map for Bush, and an animation for the past three years. For the period May 2005 to November 2006, the maps are based solely on SurveyUSA data; November 2004 shows the results of the election, and all other maps are from a combination of available data and estimates.

Fool me once, or twice, or three times, but not a fourth.
