What do you see no mater where the hell it is you go these days.

You see add's for drugs and ask you doc if you have one if it's right for you or some job in security or home finance and then there is always the work at home wonders that allow you to make money while you sleep.

If it is not that it is the latest electonic device which is also promised to change your entire life , they will in a way as to drain what little money you may have left.

I still cannot understand why anyone would need a cell phone for anything other than to make a call , I can't imagine playing games on one let alone watching TV or a movie. But that's just me , I am an old fart boomer who still feels record albums are better then anything yet that was ever put out to replace them. You get used to things and convince yourself that a CD sounds ok.

With all the new tech crap out there and I have tried some of it but I always find myself back with the old guitar and tube amp and a phone with wire to the wall and anything else that seems to still keep working and works better than any of the new stuff.

Since I do like music in my car when I do drive I have cassette tapes which don't sound as good as an 8 track because they run at a slow speed , like an old reel to reel the cassette is 1 7/8" of tape past the head which was to low quality speed on a reel to reel and a 8 track was the midpoint 3 1/2" if I recall. then we lost the high speed best sound 7 1/2" if I recall .

Since cassettes have almost vanished the best I have advance to is a CD walkman thing with an adapter that goes in where the tape went and it works fine for what it is.

I fear I'll never have an I-pod too expensive.

To be honest I don't care about new technology , it really has not made me feel things are better.

I never watch TV but yesterday my wife wanted me to see a show she taped and yes it is VHS and I saw the endless flow of commercials and I feel sorry for people who watch this and what it must do to their minds.

What ever happened to " I am angry as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore"?
