It just shows that the GOP and their media cronies will stop at nothing. Attacking the invaluable work that community organizers do to try to make life better for some of the country's most disadvantaged people, merely to score political points over an opponent, is despicable. Not only that, it clearly shows what lies at the heart of Republicanism: contempt for any activity that doesn't turn a buck. Volunteer work? That's for losers. What you really wanna do is get a nice big pork-barrel contract from the city to set up a "program" and then skim straight off the top. That way, all that time spent among smelly poor people isn't wasted. Kaching!
