4. I took Horizon off my organic list -
They have been getting fines hand over fist, since they started selling to Walmart. I would not trust any organic product from Walmart. Walmart not only hurt Mom/Pop stores but people like Rubber-maid, who when they did not want to reduce their prices more for Walmart they lost their big customer and filed for bankruptcy. Yes, I agree they put all or most of their eggs in one basket but at the same time, Walmart was just giving Rubber-maid too much demand for their products. They could not expand their retailers with Walmart at the top of their list.

Walmart is just flat out bad. What else can I say. With that said, if we are talking organics, it is important to check even the "organic" stores. I bought a months worth of frozen veggies last year, 2 weeks into eating it, I opened a bag of broccoli, right below the "certified organic", USDA blah, blah was... "Product of China". I had been feeling yucky, so I packed all of it up, returned it to Whole Foods. I then stood by their freezer department and pointed out to people the product they selected was from China. I was kicked out of Whole Foods, so I went to Sunflower and found the same thing, did the same thing and was kicked out of the store as well.

Do you REALLY think I am going to trust a damn thing from China? Not me! It can have certificates hanging all over it about how organic it is, if it is from China, I do not want it.

Screw Walmart!
