You posted the story here, to a bunch of people that don't know you from Adam. What did you expect? Furthermore I haven't seen any attempt to intimidate you into changing your behavior on this thread, which is what your bikers did. How you imagine the situations to be analogous is beyond me.

Bumper stickers on a car are a form of free speech. A group of men on motorcycles expressed their displeasure with what you had to say and as a result you took them off. In effect, you expressed an opinion, they said "shut up", and you said "OK". Perhaps you feel that's simply a sane course of action but don't refuse to acknowledge that that is what happened. A group of bikers cowed you into squelching yourself. If you can look into the mirror and live with that then fine but don't lie to yourself to make it more palatable. It is what it is.
