Unless you are not aware that:

the SS has revealed that there are 30 death threats a day now against the President, a 400% increase over any other president.

I don't think that's coming from the left. And apparently, despised as Bush was, the Secret Service never reported anything like that coming from the left during his administration.

I can't remember a Republican Congressman being assaulted either, even when the justifiable anger against the policies of Republicans was at its most intense.

Are you not aware of the fact that the mobs showing up at Town Hall meetings are organized, not to discuss issues, but to disrupt and deny others the opportunity to do so?

I think you are bending over way too far to defend the indefensible. It was this attitude from the left, that we needed to be 'nicer', that gave us the last eight years of disastrous policies.

People eventually have to face facts. These are not nice people who just have differences of opinion. If you think they can be compared in any way to ordinary Americans who want to see their government succeed, you either haven't been paying attention to what this country was put through, (not to mention the ones we invaded) when their party was in power and what they did to get there. The mistake made by Democrats was trying to reason with them and here you are again, with the same old failed message.

Bullies only understand one thing. And this time maybe people have had enough of their tactics. I certainly hope so for the sake of this country's future.
