my background on the issue. Taking care of poor people for 30 yrs. Working in public / community health and dealing with crappy insurance companies daily. Kerry's daughter, who influences his health policy, worked as a doctor in our hospital busiest and poorest clinic. I know he is 100% committed to a full public option and DFA really turned me off on this type of attack dems first action when the decided to target him.

Mostly, if I believed attacking dems really worked, I would probably feel differently. I dont believe they do and crappy attacks like DFA on Kerry and ubiquitous blog attacks on Dodd and Pelosi (both public option advocates) for not being strong enough advocates leads me to believe such attacks are too petulant and will ultimately be self-defeating. This is why I agree with Rahm that such attacks are stupid.
