You didn't think that $1.2 trillion worth of our debt they bought was free did you.

This is just one of a thousand examples of why letting other countries own you is a bad idea.

Of course some people say "who cares about the national debt" or "it isn't as high as it was during WWII" or "we should never cut spending".

This is the reality. China has a $1.2 trillion sword over our heads and we will do whatever our master wants.
