This is all about what they WANT to say, but CAN'T say, because they're too ashamed or COWARDLY to say:

Either that or they think everyone but them is lazy and shiftless because they're supposedly successful and the other person (who may or may not have worked just as hard, but for whatever reason shit didn't pan out or their company closed) isn't.
