The dem leadership should be as angry as you are and cutting these shitheads down to size. But where are they? Playing kissy face with the right wing politicians. When Republicans regain control, all this bi-partisan shit will be out the window and we'll be even weaker than before Obama.

The republicans field whacko candidates so they can blaze the trail for their extremist agenda. In essence they are desensitizing Americans to accept a new type of extreme right wing agenda. This strategy is so completely effective they control the health care debate, they make torture something legit, we think its OK for companies to strip mine sick people for profits.

There are a few truths with republicans - the "free" market, their guns, their bibles, their racism, their violence. But this bothers fewer Americans than ever because as long as the media whackos spew this stuff all day long, eventually it becomes the truth and we accept it as the quintessential American experience.

Direct that anger at the supposed opposition. Unfortunately I'm afraid the more research you do into the democrats and republicans the more they are, in fact, the same and that is why you won't see democratic leadership as much as whimper against republicans. Our leadership is simply too weak and unprincipled. Its all about the money and nothing more.
