40. If you get any sunshine at all and you take a multi-V, taking extra or mega D is a BAD IDEA -
unless you have other underlying conditions or factors which cause you to be deficient.

I know D is the most fashionable cure-all vitamin of the moment but unlike many other vitamins, D is fat soluble (A,D,E&K are your fat soluble vits) and it is retained in the fatty tissues of your body such as adipose, liver, etc. Because of this you can build up toxic levels and things can go south in a hurry and you could end up wishing you had the flu instead.

I actually don't think H1N1 is that big of a deal, at all. Certainly at this point no bigger deal than the regular flu. I get my regular flu shot every year. If the H1N1 vax is reasonably priced, I'll get it too, because being out with flu is a royal pain in the arsewich. I'm going to be exposed to it. I spend 5 days a week with college kids, so I'm interested in avoiding the inconvenience. On the other hand, if the vax is unavailable to me, I'm not going to spend the semester cowering in my attic with duct tape and plastic sheeting either.
