It has to do with the fact that the photographer probably submitted a batch of which these are a tiny fraction. And his description has to give him the best and fastest chance of someone searching it out in the database, picking it up and using it for distribution. Now if someone actually uses it with that description... Going into detail on those specific pictures would probably not be worth the effort - and risk someone elses pictures being picked up while he was personalizing every image.
