17. Yep. That's sadly how it works
The fact that our politicians don't recognize this as a severe problem is probably one of the worst things going on in this country today. These were once well paying jobs that drove entire communities. Now, they are dinosaurs and entire communities collapse around them. Then we see the economic and social mess that it creates in its wake.

We do nothing to protect workers and U.S. companies here at home, but we go out of our way to make sure that executives can make these deals and bring home tons of money for themselves.
