27. No, this is actually the most important part of the Palin event.

The general public has a short attention span, and lives in pictures and sound bites. They didn't see or hear her speech, and never will.

But they can all grasp a picture of Palin with words cribbed onto her hand. All but the koolaid drinkers will think this makes her a moron, so that's a win.
