Look at where this all started.

Growth spurt of the top 1 percent, 1987:

Growth spurt of CEO pay, 1994:

Decline in average hourly earning, 1972:

Decline in personal savings, 1982:

Downward mobility, 1946

This situation didn't happen overnight, and it was Bush's policies, separate and apart from the decades of financial inequity, that delivered the U.S. to the brink of financial catastrophe.
