20. Have the Democrats ever tried to out-Luntz Frank Luntz?
What I mean by that is that Frank Luntz and the Republicans do a masterful (albeit evil) job of twisting the argument before there is any discussion by labeling an idea in a way that tells a Republican story. And they do it in a way that presents a wall of sound that sweeps through the pundits, the blogosphere and the mainstream news rooms.

No Child Left Behind.
The Patriot Act.
John Kerry is a "flip-flopper."
John Roberts is an umpire who calls them like he sees them.
Obamacare.
Death Panels.
I want my country back.
Family values.

My question is this: Has anyone tried to put together a group of writers - comedians, copywriters, bloggers and the like - to frame an honest, fact-based message in a way that is more digestible to the American Public? What if every Democrat, from the White House down started calling Republican economic policy "Table Scrap Economics"? What if they started referring to the "Republicans" as "Republican'ts"?

It seems like "they drove the car into a ditch and now they want the keys back" was a short, succinct, honest way to describe an entire political climate. Is there a push for more messaging along those lines?

If there is, or you think there should be, that kind of effort, send me a message. I'd love to help.
