6. When Perceptions Backfire...
First...I haven't seen anything that says Federal employees were going to have their wages cut, just frozen. It's disengneuous to try to spin this as more than what it is...and that is a pretty hollow political ploy done out of weakness.

This Administration appears to be getting mixed messages and are reacting in a very knee-jerk and shell-shocked fashion. Supposedly they're "reading" that people want the government to cut spending and this is supposed to make nice to the teabaggers and rushpublicans in hopes they'll let President Obama pass something/anything over the next two years. They won't.

Instead we get the perception of an administration shitting on the little guy while the fat cats get their tax breaks and add billions to the defecit this administration now claims to be trying to address. Futile and it's eroding more of what is existing of his base than gaining any support from "across the aisle".
