It's a crime

I fail to understand how politicians and modern media claim that they reflect the public's' view, with the ideas they present. Why do they pretend to exalt humanity, by reflecting us as no better than animals? Most speeches, news stories and entertainment programs are about terrorists, crime and punishment. Do these fame-seekers think they are the guardians of virtue? By broadcasting their notions of vice and virtue, they rob us of happiness and replace it with fear, while helping to put America in economic misery. Do they imagine they will increase our reliance on media or government, by insisting that one political party or news source is better than another? They rob us of more than money. They are slapping reason in the face and stealing our self-respect.

At some point, it becomes obvious to even an idiot that both political parties, like media, have sold out. Sometimes openly, but more often concealed; media personalities and politicians sell themselves to the highest bidder. They dignify their actions in the name of freedom and prosperity, while offering the views of their overlords. Their bosses offer only slavery. If media and puppet politicians deliver views in a seemingly inspired manner, they get results: And usually it takes several attempts, in front of a camera to get their rehearsed "inspired" words right.

The subversion of of media is much like the subversion of government; valid arguments against their agenda will generally be buried. And those who offer educated descent will be denied public forum, or worse. It is far easier to maintain a wrongful cause for money than it is to support a just cause for humanity. Supporting dissenting opinions to establish the truth by solid, conclusive arguments is not any part of their master plan.

Sadly, the average person has a very short attention span and is easily led. Is the Gulf of Mexico clean yet? How many died in Iraq and Afghanistan for freedom today? Are we relinquishing freedom for security out of fear? Are you afraid that you'll lose your wealth or income? Someday, perhaps the masses will realize that fear and hate are the tools and burdens of fools.

When humanity is made doubtful of their own reason they run along with a speaker, charmed and captivated by the promise of a plentiful economic harvest, even if the speaker's name is Bush or Hitler. When it comes to war machines, prosperity is always the offer and fear is the catalyst. Reasoning flies when the promise of wealth and power become the prizes. The ultra-rich will obviously destroy the planet and themselves to attain power. Their approach is uncompromising; but eventually their harvest will be barren. Trickle down economics is a fairy-land of false philosophy.

Frequently, those things that seem pleasing in the short term lead to dire consequences in the long term. This is not only true for the workers but also for the ultra-rich leadership. There is some sort of media gloss on dangerous falsehoods, which dazzles the human imagination. This dazzle has nothing in common with sober aspects of the truth.
