to the press. Politico has taken some quotes and then surrounded them with opinion to try to continue a controversy. For example, talking about being hypocritical, Politico ascribes that to Obama talking about Tea Party activists. I'd guess that Obama never mentioned the Tea Party. That was Politico creating controversy. You don't have to look further than your own television to see Republican members of Congress talking about a takeover and restriction of freedoms. Or Limbaugh. Or a myriad of talking heads. Politico threw out "Tea Party" just to create conflict.

That said, I'm sure that now, Obama will get criticized for speaking the truth that the media refuses to acknowledge.
