with an obligatory "Pledge of Allegiance", which I find
cloying and gratuitous..I've got nothing against the Pledge,
but freaking A, like most, I think, I said it every day for
years in grammar and high school, and I really don't need
his maudlin "show" of patriotism.
As the "loyal opposition", I challenged him amidst
a crowd of fawning sycophants, and, the second time,
at least, I got a round of applause.
He has been getting a lot of push back lately,
which is a huge relief...He comes off like
a shallow, but well-trained showman and listening
to him "open" with his 40 minute, pre-question
fillibuster of "shtick"
is almost unbearable:eyes:
