13. I couldn't vote for Fenty because he was a corrupt
douchebag (among a few other things).

But taken all in all, I certainly wished I could back him, as I felt that things that needed to happen here were happening.

I don't know what the countervailing plus factors are for people who vote for Vitter, but really, how does one look in a mirror after that vote.

That is a disgusting, loathsome, creep, and I don't think that side of things is open to debate. Just like no one could say Fenty was not guilty of inexcusable corruption - something also not open to debate.

I do love this country, but man, it profoundly disturbs me sometimes.
