Fingerhut steps down a year early
The head of higher education says he is optimistic, but it is time for him to leave
by WKSU's STATEHOUSE BUREAU CHIEF KAREN KASLER

Reporter

Ohio's head of higher education is leaving his job - a year before his term expires. Chancellor Eric Fingerhut says he's stayed long enough to work with Gov. John Kasich and new lawmakers during the transition, but that Kasich deserves to pick his own appointee as chancellor. Fingerhut insists he's not leaving because he fears devastating budget cuts.

Why the f*#! did he take the job if he didn't want to fulfill his obligations? Guess the salary was to paltry:

"He was paid $186,700 a year to lead the University System of Ohio, which includes 14 universities, 23 community colleges and more than 140 adult education programs."

The Ohio Dem Party needs new blood! The party elite have merged with corporate interests to help the GOP destroy the middle class. Watch what happens to public education in Ohio. Ist Strickland's people didn't turn in the proper paperwork for one member now this.
