A Commons motion to impeach Tony Blair for "gross misconduct"
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4026219.stm

'Impeach Blair' bid moves closer

Plaid Cymru's Adam Price says Blair must be brought to book
A Commons motion to impeach Tony Blair for "gross misconduct" over the Iraq war is being published next week. Parliamentary officials have approved the motion's wording and will allow it to be tabled on Wednesday - the day after the Queen's Speech.

MPs will have the chance to sign the order paper. The Speaker will then decide whether to allow a debate on it.

Plaid Cymru's Adam Price said 30 MPs have agreed to sign the motion which charges Mr Blair with improper conduct.

The allegation against the prime minister would be that in making the case against Iraq he was guilty of a serious breach of constitutional principals.

Mr Price said that the impeachment process had now been established as part of British Parliamentary practice.

3. Do not expect the Labour Party to show even a shred of integrity.

They will support their poodle with every ounce of their self-centered, amoral, technocratic anti-spirit. Labour is the great whore of Europe. They exist only to promote themselves. Simply as a matter of convenience and propelled by blithe inertia, they allow this creature Blair to stay on. Expect nothing from them. I've never understood the cross-Atlantic ties between political parties. After all, there isn't one political party in England that isn't liberal compared to the Democratic Party as represented by our congressional delegation (and that includes the Torries).

Watch as the impeachment fails to get enough support to sustain a debate.

Be aware that that is happening because Labour would rather keep Blair in power for their own personal convenience than stand on principle and send him packing. I'm reminded of the Orson Wells quote about the Red Scare in Hollywood (paraphrase): People in Hollywood betrayed their best friends not to save their lives bur, rather, their swimming pools.

Corporate America controls the media and we get manufactured news.
Corporate America now controls the voting machines and we get manufactured elections.

6. Funny how I feel a sense of liking towards the Torries.
Never was comfortable with Blair. I hear his wife hates Bush.

Go Commons! Let the avalanche begin, and spill over the pond.

8. I think once the motion is tabled
it almost certainly will go to debate. But it'll never get the votes needed to pass to the House of Lords, following the debate.
