EU Warns Iran to Agree Nuclear Deal by Monday
Sat Nov 27, 2004 04:50 PM ET

By Louis Charbonneau
VIENNA (Reuters) - France, Britain and Germany told Iran on Saturday if they had not reached a final agreement to freeze key parts of its atomic program by Monday, they would not stop moves to seek sanctions against Tehran, diplomats said.

"The Iranians were told that if there's no deal by Monday, they (the EU) would no longer block a referral to the U.N. Security Council when the (U.N. nuclear watchdog) reconvenes," a Western diplomat told Reuters. The Security Council has the power to impose economic sanctions

Monday or Security Council impose economic sanctions!!!

4. I'm forced to agree. For different reasons.
The global economy, which is trying to shift from the dollar, might not make the transition.

I won't repeat all of the factors, all of which can be found on DU, but at this point I'd rather see thermonuclear annihilation. Equal treatment for everybody.

Maybe I need professional help, but as a part of "Generation X Fucked", I see no future for anybody. So why should anybody suffer?

6. It does sound rather ominous
We know what comes after sanctions. But can the Security Council pass sanctions alone, or do they need the entire general assembly?
