Judge to rule Tuesday on part of challenge to Bush victory in Nevada
RENO, Nev. (AP) -- A judge intends to decide Tuesday whether to allow a legal challenge to move forward aimed at blocking Nevada's five electoral votes from being cast next month for President Bush.

Washoe County District Judge Peter Breen said Monday he's considering setting an evidentiary hearing to determine whether there are grounds to keep the votes from Bush - who carried Nevada by 21,500 votes - due to allegations of voter registration fraud and claims some voting machines malfunctioned.
...
The Nevada Supreme Court formally canvassed the vote last week and Secretary of State Dean Heller, a Republican, certified the results.

"The train has left the station and the results could not possibly change," said Rew Goodenow, a lawyer representing the five Republican electors scheduled to cast Nevada's votes Dec. 13.

1. Thanks for sharing...

clip from your posted article:

"Only the Nevada Legislature has the authority to set the time for statewide elections, he said. Therefore, if Breen grants the challenge, it likely would result only in a nullification of the election results in Nevada, Goodenow said.

"The potential result would be simply awful - that Nevada votes would not count in the electoral college," he said.

"Nevada would have no voice in this presidential election.""

Isn't that something... "the potential result would be simply awful.."

YES, IT IS AWFUL! BUT, not because their electoral vote would not count... it's because the RNC SUPPORTED THE GROUP THAT "DID NOT" ALLOW MANY DEMOCRATS THE RIGHT TO VOTE! BETTER TO NOT COUNT A STATE'S ELECTORAL WHEN THIS TYPE OF FRAUD WAS SUPPORTED AND ALLOWED!

2. If Republicans were really the moral conscience of America,...
,...they would be passionately pursuing an investigation of all allegations of fraud.

But,...no,...instead they not only "pretend" there are no such allegations but go even further in their hypocrisy asserting that failure to certify amounts to extinguishing every vote.

BAH! Buttheads.

3. note, too...
that once the vote is certified to the Repukes, "the train has left the station...."
On the other hand, we're being told in Ohio that no recount can take place until the vote is certified.
So which is it, guys?
It continues to amaze me that these people can talk out of both sides of their mouths, and still get away with it because NO ONE EVER CALLS THEM ON IT!!!!
