Did Bush lie to Congress ?

Is that an impeachable offense? Just before the invasion, the WH had secret meeting with Democratic and Republican Senators who almost to a person, came out in support of Bush after their meeting with the WH officials. Were they told about the nuclear materials in those meetings? If so, is that the same as lying to Congress, lying to individual members of Congress?

3. I've wondered about those meetings

Were these members given a list and told there was evidence to back it up? Did they see the actual evidence? If the evidence was forged or just plain bogus how would the congressional members know? I suspect that they would not consider the possiblity that they were being duped.

Lots of questions for our elected officials here. I can't imagine even Republican Senators being willing to take the fall for BushCo if it turns out they were given bogus info. I wonder how much more than just the uranium was "misrepresented"?
